This hotel is our go to hotel in the McKinleyville CA area. It's consistent for service, staff professionalism, room amenities and location. Breakfast has a lot of options and there are plenty of luggage carts for us folks who carry too much stuff. We checked in on Christmas day and the staff was very friendly and helpful on a day when that behavior can be hard to find.

We checked in late and the floors were just cleaned and I felt bad about tracking in the weather but the desk attendant was so gracious and invited us in with a smile. she directed me to the food items so my dog could eat as we forgot her food, and added it to our bill which was nice not to dig out the card again. Nice fireplace area in lobby, cozy greeting.

Sparklingly clean rooms and great shelf space/storage space in bathroom and bedroom - much appreciated when travelling for multiple days. Free breakfast had nice variety and saved looking for a breakfast spot each morning. Easy parking. Wi-fi was good.

Excellent location. In the room we first checked in the bathroom was clogged. The front staff was quick to move us to a different room and there was no issue after that. The hotel was well maintained and the room very comfortable. Would certainly recommend it to people looking for lodging accommodation in the area.
